Felton exercised his $3.9 million player option to remain with the Mavericks next season, Real GM reports. The decision was obvious for Felton, who likely would not have been able to fetch more than a minimum offer as a free agent. The 30-year-old appeared in 29 games for the Mavs this season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.4 assists on 40.6 percent shooting. Felton will remain in a bench role next season, though he could see a slight bump in minutes with Rajon Rondo gone and J.J. Barea's future with the team in question.
