Eric Gordon has told Hornets officials he is content and no trade is expected at the Feb. 21 deadline.
With Gordon's knee (which he says is at 80 percent) finally holding up, he's feeling good. He still won't commit to New Orleans as where he wants to be long term, but he's not demanding a trade either. The Hornets matched the four-year, $58 million deal Gordon signed as a restricted free agent last summer, giving them all the cards here. If healthy, Gordon forms a nice building block with Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson and Greivis Vasquez.
