Anderson (sports hernia) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bulls, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Alvin Gentry acknowledged Anderson would likely be shut down for the season with sports hernia surgery recommended by doctors, so don't expect to see him over the Pelicans' final two games. He'll become an unrestricted free agent this season and should receive plenty of interest due to the high-level shooting abilities he brings at the power forward spot.
