Williams has agreed to join Bayern Munich, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams only played two NBA games last year for the Lakers, totaling two points and one rebound in nine minutes. He's seen his playing time fall each season since his second year in the league, and things have ultimately reached a breaking point with him signing overseas. It's still possible he attempts an NBA comeback considering he's entering his age 27 season.

Williams' 10-contract has expired and the Lakers will not look to re-sign him, Bill Oram of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams inked a contract with the Lakers in early March, but ended up seeing action in just one of five games he was available for. The Lakers will now appartently look elsewhere to fill their final roster spot, which sends Williams back to the free agent market. He could head to the G-League in an attempt to drum up interest elsewhere in the NBA for those in need of depth at the forward positions.

Williams will be available for Friday's game against the Nuggets but is unlikely to see the floor, Harrison Wind of BSNDenver.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams, who is 26 years old, signed a 10-day deal with the Lakers on Friday. It's unclear at the moment what his role will be, but it's probably worth holding off from adding him on the waiver wire until he sees the floor. Even still, there's far from a guarantee he'll end up making the roster for the remainder of the season.

Williams will sign a 10-day contract with the Lakers on Friday, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams is still only 26 years old, and it's entirely possible for him to play well enough for the Lakers to ultimately retain his rights for the remainder of the season. However, when it comes to adding him as a late-season flyer, it's probably best to wait and see how he performs before adding him off the waiver wire. This is especially true with Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma fully healthy.

Williams has signed a contract to play with the Tianjin Gold Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, Don McCormack of AmicoHoops.net reports.
EDGE Analysis
After an eight year career with five teams in the NBA, Williams will take his talents to China. The No. 2 pick in the 2011 draft averaged 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds across 20.8 minutes throughout his career.

Williams (quad) will play during Saturday's game against the Clippers. Jason Lloyd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Williams seemingly going through morning shootaround without issue, he'll suit up for Saturday's contest against the Clippers. With LeBron James (rest), Kyrie Irving (rest/knee) and Kevin Love (rest) all sidelined for Saturday's game, Williams will likely see additional run.

Coach Tyronn Lue said that Williams (quad) should be able to play Saturday against the Clippers, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cavaliers will presumably reevaluate Williams at morning shootaround Saturday before making a formal declaration on his status, but it sounds like the bruised right quadriceps that sidelined him for Thursday's win over the Jazz isn't too serious. However, with Kevin Love (knee) returning from a long absence Thursday, the Cavaliers have less of a need for their depth options at power forward, so it wouldn't be surprising if Williams was squeezed out of the rotation Saturday.

Williams will miss Thursday's matchup against the Jazz due to a right quad contusion, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams -- averaging 8.7 points and 2.9 rebounds across 21.5 minutes per game since joining the Cavaliers -- will miss his first game with the team Thursday. In his absence, Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye may see extended workload.

Williams provided 13 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and one assist across 21 minutes in a 128-96 win over the Pistons on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams' playing time had been trending down in recent games, but the blowout victory allowed coach Tyronn Lue to find more time than usual for his bench options. The former No. 2 overall pick responded with a productive scoring outing, with his outside shooting the major reason behind his success. Williams has thrived in that capacity since signing his first 10-day contract with the Cavaliers back on Feb. 9, shooting an excellent 41.9 percent from three-point range.

Williams posted 13 points (5-10 FG, 2/5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one steal and a block across 31 minutes in Wednesday's 103-99 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
In the midst of his second 10-day contract with the team, Williams has looked very impressive off the bench and is proving to be a valuable asset while Kevin Love (knee) is out. While Channing Frye has been garnering the lion's share of starts in Love's absence, Williams has had more of an impact. In fact, Frye only posted 12 minutes on the court Wednesday, yielding most of his minutes to Williams. While coach Ty Lue will continue to rotate Frye, Richard Jefferson and Williams to fill the 4 spot, Williams looks to have the most fantasy impact until Love returns.
