Green signed a four-year, $45 million contract with the Spurs on Wednesday, Ken Berger of CBS reports.

Coming off of a season in which he averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, Green will get a major pay raise, but it appears he gave the Spurs a bit of a hometown discount. The North Carolina product was expected to draw several suitors, including the Knicks, but he'll return to San Antonio and could see his offensively role increase slightly over the next couple of seasons after Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are phased out of the roster.

Green rounded out his sixth year in the NBA with career-high averages of 11.7 points, 2.4 three-pointers, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 29 minutes per game through 81 games in 2014-15.

The 27-year-old Green had a career season with the 55-win Spurs, and he'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, able to sign with any team he chooses. He shot 44 percent from the field, 42 percent from three, and 87 percent from the free-throw line this season, efficiency marks any coach would be excited to have on their roster. Green stayed healthy all season, playing in 81 of 82 games despite coach Gregg Popovich's proclivity for resting his players regularly. Since signing with the organization five years ago, Green has filled a role similar to that of former Spurs D-and-3 specialist Bruce Bowen. Green will most likely re-sign with the Spurs as he has become a huge part of the culture in San Antonio, but it's possible he could be looking to cash in if another team wants make him an offer the Spurs aren't comfortable matching.

Green, who had been quiet to date, had his best game of the series in Game 7, scoring 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and five blocks in 35 minutes Saturday.

After tallying just two blocks throughout the series, Green exploded defensively and almost got the SPurs over the line. Game 7 was also only the second time that Green scored in double digits, but his poor overall playoff showing shouldn't detract from his stellar regular season. Green is an unrestricted free agent this summer and may find himself in different colors next season.

Green was held scoreless Sunday in Game 4 (0-6 FG, 0-6 3Pt) and had just two rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.

Green has been fairly quiet this series. During the regular season, he averaged a career-high 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds, but is averaging just 6.5 and 3.0 in the first four games of this series against the Clippers.

Green stuffed the stat sheet in Game 3's win against the Clippers, posting 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 29 minutes of action.

Green has been averaging 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during the Playoffs so far. He's been contributing well in limited minutes, and he's a fairly consistent option for the Spurs, who have now taken a 2-1 series lead against the Clippers.

Green posted 17 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and a blocked shot in 32 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Blazers.

Green has shot awful over his last two games, going a combined 2-for-8 from the field and 0-for-4 from the three-point line for six points, so it was good to see him hit on some shots Wednesday. Green continues to be quite inconsistent, but when he's on, he's a great source of three-pointers, along with some rebounds as well. His fantasy value lies in how consistent he can play, so continue to monitor him moving forward.

Green scored 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt) with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Pistons. After failing to score more than eight points in any of the last four games, Green finally found his shot from beyond the arc again. He's been streaky this season, so his owners will just have to hope he's still locked in when he gets back from the All-Star break.

Green scored eight points (2-9 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block in 33 minutes Monday against the Pacers.Green struggled again from behind the arc and is 2-for-17 on three-pointers in his last three games combined. He is averaging 12.0 points a game this season, but has scored eight points or less in eight of his last 10 games. He has the ability to put up the occasional outstanding offensive performance, but he'll need to do it on a more consistent basis to elevate his fantasy value.

Green scored 16 points (5-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with two rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 30 minutes Saturday.

In his last three games, Green is averaging 11.7 points, 3.3 three-pointers, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 blocks, ludicrous numbers, especially for a guard. If someone was foolish enough to drop Green, you need to find room for him on your roster.

Green scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT) with five rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals in 26 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Hornets.

This was a return to form for Green after four games in single digit scoring. Green is still one of the premier players in the league who contributes in threes, steals and blocks. He should be owned in all leagues.
