Beal posted 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 43 minutes of action in Game 6 against the Hawks.

Beal had another strong performance, and he's beginning to show that he can take quite a scoring load when needed. Unfortunately for the Wizards, it wasn't enough to help them take the win, and Beal will head into the offseason preparing to improve for next year.

Beal scored 23 points (9-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT) with seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 42 minutes during Wednesday's Game 5 loss to the Hawks.

Beal has been a stand out for the Wizards without John Wall and he continued that form in this game with Wall back in the line-up. He is showing a great all-round game which would translate into significant fantasy value if he could put together an injury free season.

Beal scored 34 points (11-25 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 8-9 FT) to go along with six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block in 44 minutes in Game 4 Monday against the Hawks.

Beal put the Wizards on his back Monday, but it wasn't enough to come away with a victory. For as long as John Wall (wrist) is out, continue to expect Beal to put up big numbers.

Beal handled the ball a lot more in Game 3, scoring 17 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with three rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 39 minutes as the Wizards beat the Hawks on a Paul Pierce buzzer beater.

In the two games without John Wall (wrist), Beal has averaged 18.5 points, 2.0 three-pointers, 4.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in 41 minutes. With Wall's status uncertain for Game 4, Beal is a superb option for playoff fantasy formats, in particular, daily leagues.

Beal said his ankle is fine after rolling in in Game 1 against the Hawks, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

Beal dealt with some swelling and discomfort after Game 1, but he played through the injury in Game 2 and said Thursday that he's "basically 100 percent now." With John Wall (wrist) potentially set to miss more time, Beal will continue to be leaned on for extra offensive production.

Beal (ankle) posted 20 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and three steals in 43 minutes of action in Game 2 against the Hawks.

Beal hurt his ankle in Game 1 but ultimately did not have to miss time. Unfortunately for the Wizards, John Wall wasn't so fortunate -- and thus they gave up a loss to the Hawks, who tied up the series 1-1. Look for Beal to remain aggressive in Game 3.

Beal (ankle) will play in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Hawks, The Washington Post reports.

Beal's right ankle sprain suffered Sunday caused him to limp through Monday's practice, but with the swelling not overbearing, Beal will be good to go Tuesday. Coming off a 28-point outburst in Game 1, a banged-up Beal will at least boast confidence from his series-opening performance heading into Tuesday's subsequent contest.

Beal (ankle) was observed walking without a noticeable limp at practice Monday, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

Beal indicated after Sunday's game that his ankle sprain was very painful, but his presence at practice Monday bodes well. It would likely take a lot for him to miss Game 2 on Tuesday, but his status should be officially updated at some point prior to the game.

Beal said after Sunday's Game 1 that the ankle sprain he suffered is the most painful he's ever had, CSN Washington reports.

Beal briefly left Game 1 due to the injury but managed to get back on the court to finish out the game. That said, he was seen limping and may ultimately deal with swelling after his adrenaline wears off. The 21-year-old should be a game-time decision for Tuesday's Game 2 with Otto Porter likely benefiting if Beal is deemed unfit.

Beal (ankle) has returned to Sunday's Game 1 against the Hawks, ABC's telecast reports.

Beal momentarily exited Sunday's game with an ankle injury but it apparently wasn't severe enough to sit out the rest of the game. He should still be considered day-to-day ahead of Game 2 just in case he suffers from lingering swelling.
