Iguodala earned the NBA Finals MVP trophy in the Warriors' 105-97 Game 6 win on Tuesday. He scored a season-high 25 points (9-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-10 FT), corralled five rebounds, dished out five assists, and accumulated two steals in 36 minutes.

Iguodala edged out the Cavaliers' LeBron James by a 7-4 vote for Finals MVP. Though his box score numbers don't leap off the page, Iguodala's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome. He finished the series averaging 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.3 three-pointers in 37.1 minutes per contest.

Iguodala missed out on a triple-double and registered 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-11 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals in 42 minutes during the Warriors' 104-91 Game 5 victory.

Iguodala missed nine straight free throws at one point, and the Cavaliers opted to intentionally foul him late in the fourth quarter. Through five games, he leads the Warriors with a 55 percent field goal clip, a 41 percent mark from three-point land, and a plus-48 point differential.

Iguodala will continue to start in Sunday's Game 5 of the finals against the Warriors, the Mercury News reports.

Iguodala was secretly added to the starting five in Game 4 by coach Steve Kerr and it was still unclear who the coach would go with for Game 5. However, the Warriors played much better with Iguodala as a starter and so they'll continue the trend Sunday. The veteran spent 39 minutes on the court previously and there's certainly a possibility that he'll see around that same total again in Game 5.

Iguodala made the most of his first start since the 2013-14 season by scoring a season-high 22 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), corralling eight boards, and registering one steal in 39 minutes on Thursday in the 103-82 Game 4 victory.

Iguodala continues to lead the Warriors in field goal and three-point accuracy in the NBA Finals while sporting a team-high plus-32 through four games. Following such a lopsided win, Iguodala's spot in Game 5's starting lineup seems like a certainty.

Iguodala will start Game 4 at the small forward spot, Brian Witt of Warriors.com reports.

Iguodala will replace the struggling Andrew Bogut in the starting lineup as the Warriors look to go small against Cleveland. Golden State will try to space the floor more with these shooting lineups, so expect Iguodala to play big minutes as long as he can stay out of foul trouble while guarding LeBron James.

Iguodala scored 15 points (6-12 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists, and blocked one shot in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 96-91 Game 3 loss.

Iguodala is shooting a team-high 60 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc through three NBA Finals games, all while spending most of his time guarding the Cavaliers' LeBron James on the defensive end.

Iguodala contributed four points, one rebound, and four assists over 26 minutes during Thursday's Game 3 victory over New Orleans.

Iguodala averaged 29 minutes per game over the first three contests against the Pelicans but is struggling to produce as he only averaged 5.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.3 steals over that same time period. The veteran comes off the bench as a defensive stopper for coach Steve Kerr and is not a focal point of the offense like the days of old when he was back in Philadelphia.

Iguodala will be rested during Saturday's game against the Bucks, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

With the Warriors on cruise control and playing Saturday for the second time in as many nights, the veteran Iguodala will get the night off. His absence figures to open up minutes for the likes of Leandro Barbosa and Justin Holiday.

Iguodala scored 21 points (9-of-11 FG, 3-of-4 3Pt) with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes in Tuesday night's win over Portland. That's five consecutive games with double-digit scoring for Iguodala.

Iguodala's been more productive in the second half of the season, taking more shots and making them more often. Recently, his uptick can be attributed to Klay Thompson's ankle injury, but the greater trend is due to Golden State playing more small-ball since the All-Star break.

Iguodala went off for 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting Wednesday against Atlanta. He added six rebounds, three steals, and two rebounds over 29 minutes.

Iguodala hadn't reached 20 points since December 14 against New Orleans. Although he's averaging 29 minutes per game this month, he is only taking five field goal attempts in ten outings. He puts up solid numbers in non-scoring categories, but shouldn't be counted on to provide points.
