Horford averaged 15.2 points, 0.1 three-pointers, 7.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 steals in 31 minutes per game through 76 games in 2014-15.

At 29 years old, the 8-year NBA veteran is under team control through 2015-16. Horford had an efficient year, shooting 54 percent from the field, 31 percent from three, and 76 percent from the free-throw line. Showing his versatility and expanded range, Horford attempted 36 three-pointers this season, making 11. Last season he only attempted 11 threes, which is his next highest total. With next season being a contract year for Horford, his minutes and production will most likely be at least on par with his production this season.

Horford will not face further discipline from the league for his scuffle with Matthew Dellavedova in Game 3, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Horford received a flagrant 2 and was ejected from Sunday's game after elbowing Dellavedova around the head. When asked about the incident, Horford intimated that Dellavedova's rough play - he was involved in the play that knocked Kyle Korver (ankle) out for the rest of the playoffs - played a role in his retaliation, but, for the most part, Horford said all of the right things and apologized for the elbow. As such, a suspension was not expected, so this news only confirms that the center will be available for Game 4 on Tuesday as the Hawks attempt to stave off elimination.

Horford was ejected after tangling with the Cavaliers' Matthew Dellavedova in the third quarter of the overtime loss to Cleveland on Sunday. He had 14 points (7-10 FG) and four boards in 19 minutes before getting the boot.

Horford was scoring efficiently in the paint against the Cavaliers, but looked like he retaliated against the Cleveland guard as the two scrambled after a rebound. The Hawks soldiered on without their ousted leader, but Mike Scott and Mike Muscala could not replace Horford.

Horford left Friday's game with an apparent knee injury and will not return, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.

The game was out of hand when Horford limped off the court, so this was presumed. He should be considered questionable for what the Hawks will surely treat as a must-win Game 3.

Horford scored 16 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT) with seven rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Cavs went with a smaller lineup for most of the night, which allowed Horford to have an effective scoring performance, but it wasn't enough to get the Hawks the win. He may need to improve his production on the glass if Atlanta is going to even the series on Friday in Game 2.

Horford (knee) headed to the locker room early in the fourth quarter Saturday, but did return to the bench without reentering the game, as the Hawks lost to the Wizards on a Paul Pierce buzzer beater. The Hawks say that his knee is fine, reports ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz on Twitter. Horford had 12 points (6-13 FG) with 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in his 28 minutes.

Luckily for Hawks' fans, the news is good on Horford, and he likely remained on the bench with the rest of the starters as the bench unit got the Hawks back into the game. He can be treated as usual for Game 4.
