Enes Kanter will receive a platelet rich plasma injection in his right knee and will be sidelined for about two weeks. He will also skip the FIBA World Cup with Turkey later this summer. This is not a serious procedure and some players won't miss any games during the season after a PRP injection. Kanter doesn't have a history of knee problems, so this is a mild surprise. While he was able to stay healthy, the 22-year-old big man will really have to improve his defense to become a reliable center in the NBA.
