Josh Smith (knee) told Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he will return to the lineup Friday night.
Smith was considered probable after missing Wednesday's game against the Lakers. The impending free agent tweaked his knee Tuesday against Miami but is healed enough to send Johan Petro back to the bench. Owners in daily league should feel safe putting Smith back in the lineup Friday.
