Carmelo Anthony picked up a Flagrant-1 foul during an altercation with Spencer Hawes during Sunday's game, an incident the NBA may deem worthy of a fine or suspension.
It's quite possible that the NBA will give Melo a pass, but the replays show him intentionally whacking Hawes in the head. He finished the game with 29 points on 6-of-18 FGs and 16-of-18 FTs, and we'll update his status for Wednesday's game as soon as possible.
