Andrew Bynum C CLE 10 Months
Sixers GM Tony DiLeo said that Andrew Bynum (knees) is entering the "most critical part" of his rehab when he returns to practice.
"When he practices, bangs, jumps, moves - that's really the most critical part," DiLeo said. "We'll just have to see how he reacts during that phase." The Sixers have been in wait-and-see mode with Bynum all season, and there remains no timetable for Bynum to get back on the practice floor despite the big man saying he'd return around the All-Star break. Bynum is doing lateral movement and basketball drills, and for what it's worth, the big man thinks it will take around 10 days-two weeks once he starts practicing to be ready for a game. We're unlikely to see Bynum before the end of February, at the earliest. With Thaddeus Young (hamstring) out, Spencer Hawes is locked into a nice role right now.
