Mahinmi (foot) will in fact play against the Celtics on Friday despite the earlier reports that he would be sidelined. Mahinmi hasn't played since Dec. 5 and will likely be eased back into action Friday. With Roy Hibbert (ankle) expected to play Friday as well, there's not much reason to believe that Mahinmi will eclipse the 18.3 minutes per game mark that he's averaged over 20 contests this season.
