Seraphin scored 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 FT) and added two rebounds in 22 minutes against the Knicks Tuesday night. The 22 minutes more than doubled Seraphin's previous season high, which was eight minutes in the opener against the Heat. The extra run was, in part, because the Wizards were up big late in the game, and all of their starters played fewer minutes than normal. Seraphin's refusal to miss shots certainly helped keep him in the game, and may help him to earn some extra time in the future. Just make sure to take this result with an appropriate dose of salt, as there are still several big men ahead of Seraphin on the depth chart.
