The Wizards are sending team personnel to Los Angeles to convince unrestricted free agent Trevor Ariza to re-sign with the team. Director of player development Ed Tapscott will meet with Ariza on Tuesday and there were reports that head coach Randy Wittman had made the trip as well. Ariza is coming off one of the best seasons of his career in which he averaged 14.4 points, 2.3 three-pointers, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.6 steals and is rumored to have multiple suitors that include the Wizards and the Cavaliers. The 29-year-old had some trouble staying healthy previous to the 2013-14 season, but can be a promising fantasy asset when healthy as he is able to provide value in most categories.
