Giants manager Bruce Bochy indicated Thursday that Hunter Pence will be his No. 2 hitter while Marco Scutaro (back) is on the disabled list.

"This could be our lineup," Bochy said of Thursday's batting order, which had Pence in the two-hole. Pence will be moving up from the No. 5 spot, which means his RBI total will take a hit but he should score a few more runs. Pablo Sandoval, Michael Morse and Brandon Crawford will each move up a spot in the order. Pence figures to drop back down to the five-hole when Scutaro returns, but it's unclear when that might be.
