Hunter Pence went 3-for-3 with his sixth home run of the season in Monday's loss to the Phillies.

The Giants managed just five hits all night, and Pence had three of them, including both of their extra-base knocks. After going through a bit of a lull, Pence is heating up at the plate again, batting .500 (10-for-20) with two homers, four doubles and six RBI over his last five contests.

Hunter Pence went 2-for-4 with two doubles in a win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Pence drove in all four of the Giants' runs. He's now batting .320 (8-for-25) with a home run and six RBI over his last seven games. Pence had been in a slump after getting off to a hot start, but he's finally starting to get back on track.

Hunter Pence hit a game-tying homer in the top of the ninth Sunday in the Giants' 10-7 win over the Cubs.

After Pence tied it, the Giants scored three in the 10th to win it, with the go-ahead run coming on a balk. Pence finished the day 3-for-4 with a walk. The homer to center off Shawn Camp was his fourth of the season.

Hunter Pence belted a three-run homer in Monday's win over the Rockies.

It was Pence's only hit of the night, but it was all the Giants needed in the 4-2 victory. Most are expecting a power drop-off from Pence this season as he plays in a pitcher-friendly park over a full season for the first time, but he has three homers in the first seven contests.

Hunter Pence hit a home run and stole a base, but the Giants lost to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Pence's home run was his second of the season, a solo shot off Cardinals starter Shelby Miller in the second inning. The 29-year-old hit 24 home runs in 2012 but batted just .219 after the trade that brought him to the Giants. In his first full season in San Francisco he'll look to improve on those numbers.

Last season Dayan Viciedo of the White Sox had 25 homers, one more than Hunter Pence, Nick Swisher and Nelson Cruz. Viciedo also knocked in 78 runs, the same total as B.J. Upton and four more than Ben Zobrist. All in all, a pretty darn successful first full season wouldn't you say? So why is [...]

Hunter Pence drove in two runs Tuesday in the Giants' 4-2 Cactus League victory over the Padres.

Pence is now batting .361 this spring in the Cactus League. He struggled mightily with consistency last season but still managed a career-high 104 RBI. The outfielder makes for a decent bounceback candidate in 2013.
