Adrian Beltre 3B/DH TEX 2 Months

Adrian Beltre went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Indians on Sunday.

Multi-hit games are becoming the standard for Beltre, as Sunday's was his fifth in his last six games. He's also scored in each of those five games. The fantastic stretch is just the latest development in another terrific year for the 35-year-old, who's hitting .314/.366/.505 on the year.

Adrian Beltre hit a pair of homers off the Orioles' Bud Norris to drive in all five Rangers runs in Wednesday's loss.

Beltre has three homers in two games and eight on the season. He hasn't gotten that RBI boost from batting behind Shin-Soo Choo and Prince Fielder that we expected, but he's still as good of a bet going forward as any third baseman besides Miguel Cabrera.

Adrian Beltre went 3-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday's loss to the Orioles.

The home run off Ubaldo Jimenez was his sixth of the season and his first since May 24. The 35-year-old continues to show no signs of aging, as he's now batting .302/.362/.467 on the season.

Adrian Beltre went 2-for-4 with a home run in a loss to the Mariners on Tuesday.

Beltre took Mariners starter Hisashi Iwakuma deep in the second inning to give the Rangers a short-lived lead, and he later singled as well. Beltre has begun to come around at the dish over the last week, going 10-for-29 (.345) with two home runs and five RBI. It's more of the Beltre we're used to seeing, and it should only continue as we move forward.

Adrian Beltre hit his second homer of the year -- and second in two days -- Wednesday to score both Texas runs against the Rockies.

Beltre seems to have righted the ship now: he's 7-for-17 with two homers and six runs scored in his last four games, raising his OPS more than 100 points.

Adrian Beltre went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in a win over the Angels on Sunday.

Beltre had been hitting .167 (5-for-30) since his return from a strained left quad before Sunday's performance. Beltre also had an RBI single, his sixth RBI of the season, in the win. The third baseman is still in search of his first home run.

Adrian Beltre went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's loss to the Athletics.

Beltre has logged only three hits and a walk in 24 plate appearances since returning from the disabled list with a strained left quad. Obviously, five games is not a huge sample size, so we'll need to see Beltre in action some more before worrying.

Adrian Beltre had an RBI double in five at-bats Friday in his return from the disabled list.

Beltre hit third ahead of Prince Fielder tonight, which is the opposite of how those two opened the season. If manager Ron Washington sticks with the alignment, it will mean more at-bats and runs scored for Beltre, but potentially fewer RBI.

Rangers activated 3B Adrian Beltre from the 15-day disabled list.

Beltre missed the minimum amount of time with a strained left quad. He's back in the lineup Friday and returns to a .286/.394/.393 batting line with no home runs over his first eight games.

Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said in an interview Sunday that Adrian Beltre (quad) is on track to return for next weekend's series in Seattle.

The veteran third baseman will wind up spending only the minimum amount of time on the disabled list. Kevin Kouzmanoff has done so well while filling in for Beltre that he might stick around in a bench role.
