Kyle Lohse allowed three runs in seven innings as the Brewers beat the Giants on Wednesday.

New uniform, same result for Lohse this season. Wednesday was Lohse's third-straight quality start, and the right-hander now owns a 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP through three starts. He's not an elite option for strikeouts, but he's plenty useful in fantasy regardless. He's got another favorable matchup in his next start as the Brewers travel to San Diego on Monday.

Kyle Lohse pitched very well in a losing effort against his former team on Friday, allowing just two runs on six hits over his seven innings of work.

Lohse fanned two and didn't issue a walk on the evening. David Freese smacked an RBI single in the second inning to start the scoring, and Yadier Molina added a solo homer in the seventh off their former teammate. Lohse has hit the ground running so far with the Brewers though, and will carry a 2.08 ERA and 7/0 K/BB ratio into Wednesday's home start against the Giants.

Wednesday's game between the Brewers and Cubs was postponed due to rainy conditions at Wrigley Field.

There is no makeup date yet. Lohse was scheduled to start for the Brewers but will now face his former team, the Cardinals, on Friday night in St. Louis. Scott Feldman was scheduled to take the hill for Chicago.

Kyle Lohse will make his Brewers' debut on Friday against the Diamondbacks.

Lohse waited until a week before Opening Day to sign, but he'll wind up being just a few days behind schedule. His pitch count will be limited a bit early on, but it shouldn't be too far shy of the 100-pitch mark.

Kyle Lohse will make his first start with the Brewers on either Friday or Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

The right-hander winds up being only a couple days behind schedule despite not signing until a week prior to Opening Day. Lohse's pitch count will be limited slightly early on, but it won't take long for him to build it up.

Kyle Lohse tossed 3 2/3 innings of one-run ball against the Rockies in his Brewers' debut Thursday.

He gave up four hits, didn't walk anyone and struck out a pair in the solid outing. Lohse's stamina isn't quite up to where the Brewers would like after he was finally signed earlier this week, but he's hoping to be ready to make his first regular season start as soon as the club's second series.

Kyle Lohse will make his Cactus League debut on Thursday.

That was fast. Lohse just agreed to a three-year, $33 million contract with the Brewers on Monday, but since he's been throwing simulated games, he isn't that far behind. The expectation is that he could be ready to make his official Brewers' debut by the second week of the regular season.
