Adam Jones hit a three-run homer to help the Orioles defeat the Tigers on Tuesday.

The homer, Jones' 15th on the year, came off Justin Verlander, one of two homers Verlander served up on the night. The outfielder has now driven in 51 runs and is hitting .301/.325/.520 in what should be another All-Star season.

Adam Jones finished 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in the Orioles' 10-7 win over the Rays on Sunday.

Jones hit an RBI double in the top of the first inning, a solo home run in the top of the fourth and a single in the top of the sixth. The Orioles' star center fielder is now batting .306 with an .844 OPS in 63 games this season and he's on pace for 31 homers and 103 RBI.

Jones hit a two-run homer in Baltimore's four-run first inning and drove in his third run in the fourth inning on a fielder's choice ground ball. The 27-year-old is on track for another sensational season.

Adam Jones underwent X-rays after fouling a ball off his foot during Thursday's game, but nothing was found and he remains in the Orioles' lineup on Friday.

Nothing more than a scare for the 27-year-old budding superstar. Jones is off to a terrific start to his 2013 season, hitting .319/.351/.493 with four homers, 23 RBI and four stolen bases through his first 35 games. He's developed into one of the finest all-around outfielders in the league and looks poised to improve upon his breakout 2012 campaign.

The homer was just Jones' second of the season, but power is the only area in which the center fielder is struggling. Jones is hitting .390 with 14 runs scored and 13 RBI thus far. Once he gets the power stroke going, Jones will be even more dangerous in the middle of that Orioles lineup.
