Jones has participated in six games, which is in line with most other Orioles regulars. He has had a healthy camp and remains in line to anchor Baltimore's offense while patrolling center field. Jones hit .171 in spring training last year, so there is no cause for concern with lackluster spring numbers.

Look for Jones to see some action in the final two games, as the team will want to keep him fresh, but he'll make way for David Lough in center field Friday.

Manager Buck Showalter can afford to rest his regulars over the final week, but it seems likely Jones will continue playing regularly to stay sharp for the postseason.

Jones has driven in at least one run in five of his last seven games and now has 87 RBI on the season. He is having a very productive season with 25 home runs and 30 doubles as well.

Jones is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of reports.

Jones will give way to David Lough in center following an 0-for-5, four-strikeout showing in Game 1. A foul ball off Jones' lower leg resulted in his early exit from Wednesday's game, but there's been nothing to suggest it's something that will cost him additional time.

Jones was removed for a pinch-runner in the ninth inning of Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Roch Kubato of MASN Sports reports.

Jones fouled a ball off his lower leg during his ninth-inning at-bat and was in obvious pain after doing so. However, he continued the at-bat and hit a double before being replaced by David Lough. Jones was likely removed for precautionary reasons with the Orioles up 9-0 at the time of his exit, but be sure to keep an eye out for any updates on his status.

Jones will take his first day off this season. Surprisingly, he has gone this long without taking a full day off from the lineup. He will finally get a day of rest Sunday, with David Lough starting in center field in his place.

Jones went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Jones has multi-hit games in three of his last four. The veteran is right in line with his career averages, slashing .288/.317/.483 with 24 home runs.

Jones connected on a three-run homer in Wednesday's victory over the Yankees.

Jones' blast broke a 2-2 tie and capped a four-run eighth inning for the Orioles, who extended their division lead over the Bronx Bombers to eight games. In what seems to be an annual trick, Jones is again maintain a batting average in the .280s while making a legitimate run at 30 homers and double-digit steals. His relatively trustworthy production should again make him a dependable early-round selection in 2015.
