Puig is focusing on improving his speed with the intent of stealing more bases in 2015, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Additionally, Puig revealed that he is uncertain of where he currently stands with his weight, but that issue could prove to be a non-factor by the time spring training begins. More importantly, Puig said that he increased the intensity of his offseason workout program, which could prove to pay off in a variety of different ways once the season is underway. The Dodgers have not revealed their plans regarding defensive ailment or batting order for the upcoming season, but it's believed that Puig will man right field while rookie Joc Pederson gets the bulk of the playing time in center, even though Puig expressed a preference for center while also stating that he will accept whatever role he is assigned.
