Yovani Gallardo kept rolling along on Tuesday, holding the Nationals to one run on four hits over six innings in a no-decision.

Gallardo walked two and struck out five in his six innings of work. The start was the fourth straight in which the right-hander allowed one run or fewer over six or more innings of work, lowering his ERA to 3.23 in 16 starts this year. The Brewers bullpen blew a chance for him to get his sixth win, but he's still throwing really well heading into Sunday's tilt with the Rockies.

Yovani Gallardo limited the Diamondbacks to one run and four hits in seven innings to win Thursday.

Gallardo hasn't been as fortunate in the run support department as the rest of the Brewers' starters, but four runs was enough to get him his fifth win today. For the season, the Brewers have scored 47 runs in his 15 starts, an average of 3.1 runs per game. For everyone else, they've averaged 4.7 runs per game. That's a big reason Gallardo is barely over .500 (5-4) despite a 3.34 ERA.

Yovani Gallardo hurled seven innings of one-run ball Saturday in a no-decision versus the Reds.

Gallardo struck out eight batters in the dominant outing, but the Brewers didn't take over the lead until he was gone from the game so he was left without a win for his efforts. The right-hander has a cool 3.51 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 14 starts this season. He is scheduled to pitch on the road against the Diamondbacks next.

After a strong start, Gallardo now owns a 4.08 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 12 starts. He'll take on the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Yovani Gallardo yielded three runs in 6 2/3 innings Wednesday in a win over the Orioles.

Giving up two homers and five walks in 6 2/3 innings isn't typically a recipe for success, but Gallardo made it work tonight. It was his first win since way back on April 6. He hasn't been lit up at any point, but he's gone from allowing no runs in his first two starts to one or two runs in the next three to three or four runs in each of the last six.

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke announced Sunday that Yovani Gallardo (ankle) will make his next start on Wednesday against the Orioles.

That means Marco Estrada will have his start pushed back to Friday where he'll take on the Cubs. The ankle injury only caused Gallardo's start to be pushed back a couple of days, so don't expect it to linger and be a major issue moving forward. He can be started with confidence on Wednesday.
