Dodgers signed OF Jeremy Moore to a minor league contract.

Moore missed the entire 2012 season following hip surgery. While he's healthy now, the 25-year-old will almost surely begin the 2013 campaign at Triple-A.

The 24-year-old speedster has been bothered by a bone spur since the start of spring training. Moore will presumably be sent to Triple-A Salt Lake once he recovers from the hip procedure. He hit .298/.331/.545 with 15 homers, 66 RBI and 21 stolen bases in 460 minor-league plate appearances last year.

Angels purchased the contract of OF Jeremy Moore from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Moore, 24, batted .298/.331/.545 with 15 homers, 66 RBI and 21 stolen bases over 460 plate appearances at the Triple-A level this season. The 2005 sixth-round pick has good power and speed, but his plate discipline remains a glaring weakness. He projects as a potential fourth outfielder in the long-term.
