Stephen Drew is out of Monday's lineup against the Orioles due to tightness in his right oblique.

It was a bit curious to see Drew sitting against right-hander Bud Norris on Monday, so this would explain it. Red Sox manager John Farrell said that he felt something in his oblique during his last at-bat on Sunday. He's considered day-to-day right now, but these type of injuries can be tricky. Look for the Red Sox to be cautious.

Drew was 5-for-21 (.238) with zero homers and two RBI on his seven-game minor league tuneup.
