The right-hander struck out five without walking a batter, and all three Cardinals hits against him were of the one-base variety. It's a strong finish to a breakout first half for Peralta, who goes into the break with a 10-6 record, 3.72 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.

Overall, Peralta yielded eight hits and three walks while striking out four. He now has a 3.95 ERA, a 1.34 WHIP, and an 84/31 K/BB ratio. Peralta will take his team into the second half with a home start against the Cardinals on Sunday.

The righty has yielded four runs in consecutive outings after posting three straight quality starts in what has been an up-and-down but ultimately positive season. He'll get the Phillies next.

Peralta made one big mistake, allowing a grand slam to Ryan Wheeler in the fourth inning. Otherwise, he kept the Rockies off the board, allowing eight hits and walking two while striking out seven. Peralta continues to pitch well for the Brewers, carrying a 3.20 ERA, a 1.25 WHIP, and a 76/25 K/BB ratio. He'll go for his 10th win in his next start on the road against the Blue Jays.

The right-hander has flown under the radar with his great season, posting a 2.90 ERA with a 1.23 WHIP and a 61/22 K/BB ratio in 80 2/3 innings. Peralta will match up against the Diamondbacks on the road in his next start.

Peralta made one egregious mistake, a grand slam to Oswaldo Arcia, but otherwise limited the Twins' offense. He allowed five hits, walked three, and struck out four in the effort. His most recent two starts aside, Peralta has quietly been reliable, and now owns a 3.03 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP, and a 58/21 K/BB ratio in 74 1/3 innings. He'll get the Mets on the road in his next start.

Wily Peralta gave up six earned runs in 5 2/3 innings Saturday as the Brewers fell to the Cubs.

It was an off day for Peralta, who entered the outing with a 2.12 ERA and finished it at 2.73. The Cubs tagged him for five hits -- including two Anthony Rizzo home runs. Peralta will try to get back on the right rack in his next scheduled start at Minnesota's Target Field.
