Peguero was picked up by the Orioles after being non-tendered by the Giants in December. His chances of making the team as a reserve took a big hit with the Nelson Cruz signing, but there's still a slight chance that he could factor into the mix in left field.

The 25-year-old will battle for a reserve outfielder role with the O's during the spring, and could be a dark horse candidate to win the starting job in left field. He slashed an impressive .316/.354/.408 with three homers and 30 RBI in 70 games with Triple-A Fresno in 2013.
