Quintin Berry led off and went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Berry hit just .191 while bouncing between the Royals, Red Sox and Tigers' Triple-A teams last year, but the 29-year-old is trying to win a job with the Orioles as a non-roster invite to camp. Berry's best asset is his speed -- even with the miserable batting average, he still managed to steal 30 bases in the minors in 2013 -- something that the O's might have a use for on their bench. Still, it'll be an uphill climb for him to make the team at this point.

Berry was acquired earlier in the week from the Royals. He hit just .191/.309/.257 in 100 games at the Triple-A level this season, but possesses blazing speed and should make for a nice bench addition for the Red Sox as the push towards the postseason. Berry successfully swiped 21 bases in 21 tries for the Tigers in 94 games during the 2012 season.
