Alberto Callaspo still felt tightness in his right calf when he tried to run on Thursday.

The Angels will make a decision Friday on what to do with Callaspo, and it sounds like they'll probably have to put him on the disabled list. They can backdate the move and bring the infielder back as soon as April 27.

Alberto Callaspo (calf) will not play in the series against the Twins.

The Angels will give Callaspo until Thursday's off day for his right calf to improve. If he hasn't made enough strides at that point, he'll be placed on the disabled list. The infielder hasn't played since last Thursday due to the ailment.
