Guyer (sprained ankle) sat out Monday's exhibition game and hopes to get some at-bats in minor league camp later this week, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.

Guyer is slated to get six-to-nine at-bats in minor-league camp Wednesday after being sidelined with a mild ankle sprain. He is a depth piece for the Rays, and therefore doesn't carry a ton of fantasy potential in standard mixed leagues.

Guyer had a productive night going 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and three RBI in a losing effort against Boston on Friday.

His at bats have taken a significant hit in August as the Rays look at other options in the outfield. He has just three home runs and 24 RBI to go with a respectable .271 average so he will have to hope this outburst earns him more playing time heading into September.
