He's been on an absolute tear at the plate over his last three games, going 9-for-15 (.600) with five extra base hits, including two homers, and four RBI. He's raised his average all the way from .205 to .254 during the hot stretch and is finally providing something of value to fantasy owners.

Asdrubal Cabrera went 4-for-5 and only narrowly missed a cycle Thursday in the Indians' 9-4 win over the Twins.

Needing the triple, Cabrera drove a ball down the right-field line with a man on first in the eighth. Chris Herrmann misplayed it a bit before getting it in, and the relay came home, though it was too late to prevent the run from scoring. Cabrera clearly took third on the throw, but he was hoping he'd be credited with the triple anyway. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Still, a homer, two doubles and a single makes for a pretty good day, especially for a guy who entered with a .215 average. The homer was just Cabrera's second in 126 at-bats this season.
