Kenley Jansen will join Team Netherlands for the Championship Round of the World Baseball Classic.

Due to his heart condition, Jansen needed to received third-party medical clearance, and he's gotten it. Netherlands will play the winner of Pool 2 (either Dominican Republic, United States or Puerto Rico) on Monday night at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

Kenley Jansen is likely to join Team Netherlands for the Championship Round of the World Baseball Classic.

Jansesn told FOX Sports' Jon Morosi that there's a "95 percent" chance it will happen. Rangers shortstop prospect Jurickson Profar has also decided to suit up for Team Netherlands for the four-team, single-elimination round. Netherlands will play the winner of Pool 2 (either Dominican Republic, United States or Puerto Rico) on Monday night at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

Kenley Jansen (toe) was able to throw a bullpen session Sunday.

Jansen missed his pen session Saturday due to an ingrown toenail, but obviously it was a minor issue. He'll open the year as the primary setup man for Brandon League.

Kenley Jansen was forced to miss Saturday's workout due to an ingrown toenail.

The injury is expected to be minor, and Jansen is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. He's dealt with heart issues over the past few seasons, but is expected to be fully healthy for the 2013 season. He'll open the year as the primary setup man for Brandon League.
