Ogando's contract was selected by the Indians on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran hurler inked a minor-league deal with Cleveland back in December, but he'll head to the majors to presumably provide some length out of the bullpen. Ogando has acted as a starter in the minors this season, notching a 2.89 ERA in four starts for Columbus, so there's a chance he could make a spot start in the big leagues if need be. To make room for him on the active roster, Adam Plutko was optioned back to Triple-A and Jeff Beliveau was designated for assignment.

Ogando signed a minor-league contract with the Indians on Tuesday, Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ogando is looking to return to the show after spending the 2017 season in Korea, working as a starter and posting a 3.93 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 19 starts (110 innings) for the Hanwha Eagles. He last pitched in the majors with the Braves in 2016, though he struggled with control (23 walks in 32 innings) and wound up getting designated for assignment in the middle of the season. While Ogando hasn't started a game since 2013, when he posted a respectable 3.11 ERA with the Rangers, he's expected to stretch out as a starter during spring training.

Ogando has signed a contract for 2017 to play in South Korea with the Hanwha Eagles, the Yonhap News Agency reports.

Ogando had a 3.94 ERA with the Braves last season, but wasn't able to stay in the majors all season as he had command issues, walking 23 batters in 32 innings resulting in a 1.72 WHIP.

Ogando opted out of his minor league deal with the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being DFA'd by the Braves at the end of June, Ogando signed on with the Diamondbacks but failed to make much of an impact at the Triple-A level, struggling to a 13.50 ERA across six relief appearances. He'll now opt for free agency in hopes of landing in a more opportunistic situation.

Ogando signed a minor league deal with Arizona on Friday, Chris Cotillo of SBNation reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ogando was designated for assignment by the Braves on June 27 and was scooped up by the Diamondbacks during his waiver period. The 32-year-old has had command issues this season, walking 23 batters in 32 innings resulting in a 1.72 WHIP. He'll likely head to Triple-A Reno now and figures to be a call up candidate should Arizona require bullpen depth down the road.

Ogando was designated for assignment Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Ogando was having a decent season, going 2-1 with a 3.94 ERA in 32 innings pitched. However, since the beginning of June the 32-year-old has struggled to get batters out, posting a 6.52 ERA and 1.76 WHIP in 12 appearances. It appears the Braves have had enough and will replace Ogando with 22-year-old Mauricio Cabrera in the bullpen.

Ogando allowed three hits, including a two-run homer in one inning against the Pirates on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first home run he's yielded this season, but in his last four outings, Ogando has allowed four runs on nine hits over 3.2 innings. His ERA is still a decent 3.63, but his WHIP has ballooned to 1.90. He also has 16 strikeouts and 12 walks in 17.1 innings.

Ogando (1-0) surrendered a hit and a walk over two innings in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Marlins. He also struck out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old continued his effective work out of the Braves bullpen, with Friday's outing serving as the third of his four appearances where he's pitched scoreless ball. The veteran right-hander has posted a sterling 1.42 ERA over 6.1 innings of work so far in 2016.
