Ben Revere was not in Thursday's lineup due to a sore quad.

The injury is considered minor, though Revere indicated that he is likely to sit out Friday, as well. "May give me one more day, but if I tell him I feel pretty good, he may put me in there [on Friday]." Revere is batting just .207 with a .242 OBP so far this season.

Ben Revere is not in the Phillies' starting lineup on Thursday afternoon against the Pirates.

It's just a routine day off for Revere, who is batting .207/.242/.230 in 93 plate appearances this season. Ezequiel Carrera is starting in center field Thursday.

Ben Revere went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and two runs scored Friday in a win over the Cardinals.

As part of a four-run first inning, Revere hit the ball to the wall in left-center field for his first extra-base hit of the season. The 24-year-old began the year as the Phillies' leadoff man, but he has batted seventh each of the past two games. He's not nearly as interesting from a fantasy perspective in the bottom-third of the order.

Ben Revere went 0-for-4 in the Phillies' loss to the Reds on Monday.

Manager Charlie Manuel disrupted his lineup to move Revere into the leadoff spot, but it's yet to pay dividends with the 24-year-old hitting just .222 with four walks in 54 at-bats. He's scored five runs in 13 games to date. If he doesn't heat up soon, the Phillies could drop him down towards the bottom of the order and restore Jimmy Rollins at the top.

Ben Revere went 2-for-4 with two steals and two runs scored Wednesday in a 4-1 win over the Tigers.

It looks like Revere is going to open the season as the Phillies' leadoff man, with Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard following in the order. It's great news for his fantasy value. Manager Charlie Manuel was initially leaning towards batting him seventh because he didn't want that many lefties at the top.

Player Profile: Elvis Andrus (baseballguys.com)

Elvis Andrus is a somewhat polarizing player in fantasy baseball. Some people love his speed. Others think there isn't much to separate him from Alcides Escobar. Others think the Rangers might be better off trading him and letting Jurickson Profar have at it (as of now it appears that Profar will begin the year in [...]

Ben Revere went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs scored versus the Tigers on Tuesday.

The first double should have been an error, but as is, it was Revere's second three-hit game in four days. He's up to .372 for the spring. The Phillies have been batting him leadoff of late with Jimmy Rollins playing for Team USA, but it's still unclear where he's going to bat during the regular season.
