Francisley Bueno is appealing a three-game suspension from an incident stemming from 2008.

The Royals purchased Bueno's contract on Saturday, but his promotion is viewed as a temporary measure, and he'll likely be replaced in the next few days. According to the Kansas City Star's Bob Dutton, a hearing with MLB won't be scheduled until next week, so the suspension is in abeyance until the appeal is heard.
