Jason Heyward CF/RF ATL 2 Months

Jason Heyward was removed from the second inning of Friday's game against the Angels after being hit by a pitch on his right hand.

It happened during Heyward's first at-bat, just two pitches into the game. He was able to stay in the game to run for himself, and played another two innings in the field, but was lifted for a pinch-hitter the next time his spot came around. He'll likely head for precautionary X-rays, and expect the team to have an update on his status shortly.

If he stays healthy, his career high of 21 steals seems likely to fall.
