Jason Heyward went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Red Sox.

Heyward's fifth homer of the season came in the third inning off of Jake Peavy, a shot to right field to put the Braves up 1-0. Heyward has homered twice in his last three games, which the Braves hope is a sign that the outfielder is ready to break out. He has been mostly disappointing this season, carrying a .243/.330/.351 slash line on the season.

Jason Heyward went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox.

Heyward took Jon Lester deep in the first inning for his fourth homer of the season. It's a rare display of power for the 24-year-old outfielder, who is now slashing a disappointing .240/.332/.339 with 12 RBI. He does have eight stolen bases, so he has that going for him.

Jason Heyward went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles against the Rockies on Friday.

Jason Heyward went 3-for-4 with two steals and two runs scored against the Brewers on Monday.

Heyward's average is up to .228, the highest it's been since the first week of the season. While he's been a fantasy disappointment again, at least he has stolen eight bases in 10 tries, a big improvement from last year's two steals in six attempts. If he stays healthy, his career high of 21 steals seems likely to fall.

Jason Heyward is not in the Braves' lineup Wednesday.

He's getting a breather versus left-hander Madison Bumgarner. Ryan Doumit is starting in right field, while Tyler Pastornicky is in Heyward's normal leadoff spot.

Jason Heyward went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

The homer was his first in over a month and just his third of the season. Heyward is hitting .209/.302/.324 on the year, but he remains in the Braves' leadoff spot for lack of better options. The outfielder now has 10 RBI in 35 games.

Jason Heyward went 3-for-5 in Friday's loss to the Giants.

All three hits were singles. Heyward really struggled coming out of the gate this year, but he's hitting .333 (16-for-48) over his last 11 games. The window to buy low in fantasy leagues might be closing.

Jason Heyward went 2-for-4 with two doubles, but the Braves lost to the Marlins on Wednesday.

Heyward was the only Brave who was swinging well against Marlins starter Nate Eovaldi. With the effort, he brought his average up to .206, still far away from where he was expected to be entering the season. But the tools are obviously there, based on what he's done previously, so it may be a bit too early to lose hope.

Jason Heyward went 3-for-6 with a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Mets.

Heyward had two singles and a double, scoring in the Braves' three-run fifth inning. He had just three hits in his previous 32 at-bats, as he's still hitting just .171 for the year. Perhaps Sunday will be the start of something good for the outfielder.
