Pagnozzi was called up from Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

With active rosters expanding to 40 players Monday, the Brewers will welcome Pagnozzi aboard as backstop depth behind Jonathan Lucroy and Martin Maldonado. In 71 games with Nashville this season, the journeyman hit .215/.298/.382 with 11 homers, so he may only see opportunities as a pinch hitter or as a defensive replacement late in games.
