Michael Brantley was scratched from Tuesday's lineup after experiencing concussion symptoms during his pregame routine.

Brantley banged his head and neck on the Angels' John McDonald's knee while trying to break up a double play Monday. "He came in today feeling really good and started to ramp up his daily progression and didn't feel perfect," Indians manager Terry Francona said Tuesday. "So we immediately took him out of the lineup." Brantley has been sent for further testing and more will be known about his status once those results come back.
