Shane Robinson went 3-for-4 with a two-run double in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Robinson tied the game up at two apiece with a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning, ending Wade Miley's shutout quest. Robinson was recalled prior to Wednesday's game and went hitless in his only at-bat, playing in right field. He entered Thursday's affair batting .095 and exits at .200. Not bad for a night's work.

Robinson got sent to the minors on April 27 after an early-season slump but is now back on the Cardinals' bench. He can play all around the outfield but won't see much playing time behind Matt Holliday, Allen Craig, Peter Bourjos, and Jon Jay.

Shane Robinson will start in center field and bat second in Game 5 of the World Series against the Red Sox on Monday.

Jon Jay will take a seat with left-hander Jon Lester on the hill for Boston. With Robinson in the No. 2 spot, Carlos Beltran will bat cleanup for the Cardinals. Jon Jay has had a rough NLCS both at the plate and in the field, so Robinson will get a shot against left-hander Clayton Kershaw. The diminutive outfielder delivered a pinch-hit homer in the Game 4 win in one of his three at-bats during the series.
