Andres Torres LF/CF SF 12 Months
Andres Torres had a terrific all-around day in Friday's 5-2 win over the Rangers in Cactus League action, going 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI.
Torres was also active on the bases, netting his first steal of the spring season. He missed a few weeks of action with an oblique injury, but appears to be back on track and should be ready to go for Opening Day. He's expected to serve as the Giants fourth outfielder, unless he can beat out Gregor Blanco for the starting job in left field.

Giants signed OF Andres Torres to a one-year, $2 million contract.
Torres has passed his physical, making the deal official. The 34-year-old spent 2009-11 with the Giants, having a career year in '09 when he belted 16 homers while stealing 26 bases. He's struggled the last two seasons, though, and his best chance at playing time this time around will be to beat out Gregor Blanco for the left field job. Ultimately, he'll likely serve as a backup at all three outfield spots.
