Mark Melancon will take over as the Pirates' primary closer.

Jason Grilli has been booted from the role, though manager Clint Hurdle has said he intends for it to be a temporary demotion. Melancon boasts a 1.55 ERA over the last two seasons with the Pirates and has filled in a couple times while Grilli was on the DL. He should be a fine fantasy option in the ninth inning. Tony Watson could also see the occasional save chance when matchup dictate it or Melancon needs a breather.
