The Twins announced Friday that they'll place Josh Willingham on the disabled list on Saturday with a left wrist injury.

Reliever Michael Tonkin will be recalled to take his spot on the active roster. He will undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury since he's still experiencing irritation.
