Juan Uribe launched a go-ahead solo home run in a 3-2 win over the Padres on Thursday night.

Uribe took Luke Gregerson deep with one out in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dodgers ahead. Believe it or not, Uribe's two homers are good enough to give him the team lead. We're going to savor that little tidbit while it's still relevant.

Juan Uribe belted a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

Uribe drew the start because he was 10-for-26 with two homers lifetime against Clayton Richard, and he rewarded Dodgers manager Don Mattingly by taking Richard deep again. Unfortunately for L.A., it was two of just three runs they scored in the 9-3 loss. Luis Cruz should be back at third base Wednesday.

Juan Uribe will bat fifth Tuesday against the Padres.

No, it wasn't a mistake on the lineup card. Uribe is 10-for-26 with two homers lifetime against Tuesday's starter Clayton Richard, so Dodgers manager Don Mattingly is hoping that he can provide some thump in the middle of the order. Luis Cruz is on the bench Tuesday.

Juan Uribe was scratched from Saturday's game with right hamstring tightness.

It doesn't seem serious for Uribe, who seems to be in line for increased playing time in light of the recent injury to Hanley Ramirez. The 34-year-old utility infielder has a chance to be the Dodgers' Opening Day starter at third base if healthy.

Juan Uribe went 4-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored in Friday's win over the Royals.

The double was actually the result of a misplay by Jeff Francoeur in right field, but hey, Uribe will take what he can get. He singled in his other three at-bats. The 33-year-old is expected to make the Opening Day roster, but he's unlikely to be fantasy relevant.

Juan Uribe is in the starting lineup Tuesday for the first time since July 22.

Uribe figures to get mixed in at third base more often now that Jerry Hairston, Jr. is on the disabled list with a hip injury. Still, he's unlikely to help much in fantasy leagues. The 33-year-old is batting just .191/.248/.289 with two home runs, 17 RBI and a .538 OPS in 57 games played this year.
