Snider announced his retirement from baseball Thursday, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Snider debuted at age 20 back in 2008 and went on to appear in 630 MLB games over parts of eight seasons, finishing his career with 435 hits and 54 homers. He last played at the highest level back in 2015, spending last season struggling to a .174/.305/.304 line in 63 games for Triple-A Gwinnett.

Snider signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old is a long shot at best to make the team, as he hasn't appeared in a big-league game since 2015. In 630 career games at the highest level, he owns a modest .244/.311/.399 slash line. He spend time with the Diamondbacks and Marlins last season but never made either team's 40-man roster.

The Marlins released Snider on Aug. 27.
EDGE Analysis
Snider inked a minor-league deal with Miami in late July and was added to the organization's 60-man roster pool, but he never made a serious run at a promotion to the 28-man active roster. The 32-year-old, a former top prospect while coming up through Toronto's system, hasn't appeared in the majors since the 2015 season.

Snider signed a minor-league contract with the Marlins on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old owns a respectable .244/.311/.399 slash line over parts of eight major-league seasons. The last of those seasons came all the way back in 2015, however, and he was out of affiliated ball entirely in 2018, playing for the Atlantic League's Long Island Ducks. He managed a strong .294/.402/.497 line for Triple-A Reno in the Diamondbacks' system last year, however, and could play a small role at some point in Miami this season.

Snider was released by the Diamondbacks on Friday, JJ Cooper of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old journeyman was attempting to make it back to the majors for the first time since 2015. A first-round pick in 2006, Snider has a career .244/.311/.399 slash line.

Snider signed a minor-league deal with the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
Snider broke into the majors as a 20-year-old and spent parts of eight seasons in the big leagues, hitting a modest .244/.311/.399. He hasn't appeared at the highest level since 2015, spending the next two seasons in Triple-A and last season with Long Island in the Atlantic League. His strong .290/.374/.463 line there was enough for the 30-year-old to be given another shot at a major-league job, though the odds of him playing a significant role are low.

Snider agreed to a deal with Long Island of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
EDGE Analysis
Snider last appeared in the major leagues in 2015 with the Pirates but spent the last couple seasons bouncing around organizations at the Triple-A level. The 30-year-old will move on and look to continue his career outside of the MLB after 11 years in the league.

The Rangers traded Snider to the Mets on Tuesday for cash considerations, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
A former top prospect, Snider hasn't reached the big leagues since 2015, when he appeared in 87 games with the Pirates and Orioles. Despite the organizational change, Snider doesn't appear particularly close to earning another look in the majors, even though he's slashed a respectable .294/.375/.435 in the Pacific Coast League this season.

Snider signed a minor league deal with the Rangers on Friday worth $1 million if he makes the big league club, Jon Heyman of Today's Knuckleball reports.
EDGE Analysis
Snider only put up a .690 OPS for Kansas City Triple-A affiliate Omaha and hit a combined .232/.313/.350 for Baltimore and Pittsburgh in 2015. He'll likely serve as minors depth for the Rangers, but his eight years of major league experience could make him a possibility if the Rangers' catching depth takes a hit.

Snider was released by the Royals on Sunday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Snider had been rather subpar at Triple-A Omaha this season, posting a .245/.340/.350 line and a 19.6 percent strikeout rate. Snider has played plenty of games in the show, but has yet to show the ability to excel in the MLB, as his career line is .244/.311/.399.
