Jimmy Rollins went 2-for-5 and hit his second homer Friday against the Diamondbacks.

The homer was his first since April 7. If Rollins is going to hit for his usual modest average again this year, he really needs to do better in homers and steals (3-for-5 so far) to be a quality fantasy shortstop.

Jimmy Rollins knocked in two of the Phillies' three runs Monday in a victory over the Pirates.

Rollins had two hits, but the first RBI actually came on a bases-loaded HBP. He's 8-for-21 in five games since replacing Ben Revere as the Phillies' leadoff hitter.

Jimmy Rollins doubled in two runs and walked twice as the Phillies' leadoff man on Friday.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel gave Rollins a start as a No. 2 hitter earlier this week, but Rollins was back leading off today. If Rollins leads off and Young bats fifth, that'd probably result in three straight lefties (Ben Revere, Chase Utley, Howard) in the two-through-four spots.

Jimmy Rollins (calf) is not in the Phillies' lineup for Wednesday's season finale.

Rollins tweaked his right calf during a pickoff play Sunday and will get an early start on his offseason. The veteran shortstop will finish the year with a .250/.316/.427 batting line to go along with 23 homers, 68 RBI, 30 stolen bases and a .743 OPS.
