Mark Reynolds drew two walks and launched a two-run homer in Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Reynolds' blast in the second inning gave the Brewers what turned out to be a short-lived lead. He played third base the last couple days with Aramis Ramirez (elbow), but with Ramirez slated to play Thursday will return to primarily being the first baseman against lefties.

Mark Reynolds smacked a solo homer Friday against the Pirates.

Reynolds is off to a pretty good start with the Brewers, hitting .259 (7-for-27) with three home runs, six RBI, and two stolen bases through seven games. He also has a .355 on-base percentage. The high (for him) batting average won't last of course, but he has enough power to help in deeper mixed leagues. Fantasy owners will have to watch Ned Yost's lineup on a daily basis though, as Lyle Overbay is also getting playing time at first base.
