Reyes has logged three consecutive multi-hit games now. He singled and scored in the first inning, tripled in a run in the second, and singled and scored again in the fourth. Reyes sports a .267/.326/.417 slash line with six home runs, 22 RBI, and 16 stolen bases on the season.

Reyes hit his sixth home run of the season, leading off the game with a shot to right field off of Hiroki Kuroda. Reyes hit a ground-rule doulbe and scored in the fifth as well. The shortstop has been hot and cold, but has overall been about average offensively, as he is slashing .257/.318/.402 with 21 RBI and 16 stolen bases.

Jose Reyes went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored as the Blue Jays defeated the Yankees 7-6 on Tuesday.

Leading off the bottom of the ninth, Reyes doubled against Adam Warren, then scored when Yangervis Solarte made a throwing error on a Melky Cabrera ground ball. Reyes had been mired in a slump, having notched just one hit over his previous 26 plate appearances entering the game. Following Tuesday's outing, Reyes is now slashing .250/.313/.383 with five home runs, 20 RBI, and 15 stolen bases.

Reyes was limited to pinch-hitting duties on Sunday after fouling a ball off his shin on Saturday afternoon. He said Monday that it's "nothing to worry about."

Reyes was held out of the starting lineup after suffering a mild bruise on his left shin Saturday from his own foul tip. The shortstop is considered day-to-day.

Jose Reyes left Saturday's game against the Reds because of an apparent left leg injury.

Reyes fouled a ball off his shin in the top of the fifth inning and presumably suffered a bruise. Cincinnati was up 8-0 when he was pulled, so this may have been a precautionary thing. Look for an update soon.

Reyes went deep off of Masahiro Tanaka in the first inning, and it would turn out to be the only offense the Jays could muster off of the right-hander and the Yankee bullpen all night long. For Reyes, it was his fifth of the season, and he's now slashing .269/.332/.414 with 19 RBI and 15 stolen bases.

Jose Reyes filled up the box score Friday against the Cardinals by going 3-for-3 with an RBI, two walks, and a stolen base.

His RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Blue Jays some late insurance. Reyes really struggled to begin the year, so his batting average sits at just .259 even after the three-hit night, but he's batting .315 with 10 steals over his last 27 games. If history is any indication, look for his batting average to continue to rise as the year moves along.

With the three-hit effort, Reyes extended his hitting streak to 11 games and has also hit safely in 18 of his last 19 games. After a slow start to the season, Reyes has his slash line up to .260/.333/.420 with 11 stolen bases.
