Reyes was arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter. The 27-year-old southpaw compiled an ugly 5.57 ERA and 87/48 K/BB ratio over 140 2/3 innings between the Orioles and Blue Jays this past season. He needs to stay far, far away from the American League East.

Jo-Jo Reyes got lit up by his former club on Wednesday, surrendering seven runs on eight hits and two home runs in 2 2/3 innings of a 13-0 Orioles loss to the Blue Jays.
Reyes allowed six of his runs in the third, where Kelly Johnson and Jose Molina both took him deep. The start was by far his shortest in five outings as an Oriole, though tonight was the eighth time of 2011 he's allowed at least five runs. He'll take a 5.63 ERA and 1.62 WHIP into his Monday start against the Yankees in New York. That one could get ugly.

He struck out four and walked two. Reyes' only real mistake of the afternoon came in the third, where he served up a solo home run to Ramon Santiago. He'll take a 5.30 ERA and 1.56 WHIP into his Saturday start in Anaheim.

Jo-Jo Reyes lasted just four innings and gave up four runs Tuesday in a loss to the White Sox.
He allowed five hits and two walks and didn't strike out a batter. The O's were inclined to use Reyes as a reliever initially, but with injuries to Jake Arrieta and Zach Britton, their hand was forced. Unfortunately his first start in Baltimore wasn't any better than the performances that got him axed in Toronto. Reyes falls to 5-9 with a 5.49 ERA. He can't be relied on in fantasy leagues.
