Albert Pujols delivered a go-ahead RBI double in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Tigers in 10 innings.

Pujols hit a long drive to center field while almost Austin Jackson almost turned into a fantastic over-the-shoulder catch, but he was unable to hang on. If Mike Trout got a better read on the ball, Pujols might have tallied two RBI on the play. Either way, fantasy owners will take it. While the veteran first baseman has slowed down a bit over the past few days, June has been his most productive month of the season so far.

Albert Pujols said Wednesday that he feels better at the plate right now than he ever felt last season.

Pujols is batting .313/.385/.567 with four home runs, five doubles and 13 RBI through 17 games this month. "This is me right here," Pujols told reporters. "I feel right now like my old me, like when I was in St. Louis." The 33-year-old first baseman had a .246/.318/.415 batting line over the first two months of the 2013 season.

Albert Pujols went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 11-3 victory against the Mariners.

While his big night must be qualified -- Aaron Harang was on the mound, after all -- Pujols' heat check must be recognized. El Hombre is 12-for-23 (.522) over his last five games. He's batting .333 with an OPS over .900 in June after struggling mightily over the first two months of the season. If you can buy low, now's the time to do it.

Albert Pujols confirmed on Wednesday that he still isn't completely recovered from his knee and foot injuries and considered going on the disabled list earlier this season.

"It's like somebody's sticking a knife and putting a lighter at the same time," Pujols said of his lower-body pain. Despite dealing with the injuries all season, Pujols has missed just two games. He's batting .244/.313/.421 and hit his first home run since May 23 in Tuesday's win over the Cubs.

Albert Pujols hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth as the Angels edged the Cubs 4-3 on Tuesday.

The Angels found just enough offense tonight to shake off the weekend sweep by the Astros. Pujols also had a sac fly earlier in the contest. The homer was his first since May 23, and it gave him his first three-RBI game since April 29.

Albert Pujols is not in Friday's lineup against the Angels.

It appears that he is just getting the day off. While Pujols has been a bit banged up between his knee and foot, this is only the second time that he hasn't started a game this season.

Albert Pujols went 0-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win against the Royals.

Pujols is batting just .250/.326/.426 in 188 at-bats. The veteran slugger has been regressing since 2008; his OPS has fallen each of the past four years. He's still an effective player, of course, but those that drafted him high due to his name just aren't going to get the production they expected.

Albert Pujols is in the designated hitter spot Wednesday due to soreness in his surgically-repaired right knee.

Pujols has now started 17 games at first base and 15 in the designated hitter spot due to issues with his right knee and left foot. The ailments no doubt have contributed to a disappointing .231/.317/.397 batting line this season. Mark Trumbo is playing first base Wednesday.
