Albert Pujols went 2-for-5 with two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.

Pujols doubled and scored in the first inning and singled and scored in the third. He was lumbering around the bases to the point where he almost looked to be in pain, so hopefully his foot isn't acting up on him again. While he's hitting just .264 with a .330 OBP, Pujols' counting stats have been there with 10 homers, 26 RBI and 26 runs scored.

The Angels said after Saturday's game that Albert Pujols was dealing with hamstring tightness and would likely DH again Sunday.

Pujols started at DH tonight and was removed for a pinch-runner after walking in the eighth inning. With Pujols slated to DH, it's a given that C.J. Cron will be in the lineup again at first base.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with his MLB-leading ninth home run Friday against the Yankees.

All nine of his home runs have come in his last 15 games. Pujols now owns a .293/.356/.652 batting line and a 1.009 OPS on the year to go along with an 8/8 K/BB ratio. Finally back to full health, it looks like he's far from done terrorizing major league pitching.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, a walk, and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Nationals.

No home runs for Pujols after joining the 500-homer club on Tuesday, but the 34-year-old kept the hot hitting going. Pujols is now slashing .284/.351/.625 in 97 plate appearances. One item worth keeping an eye on is his strikeout rate, as it is markedly lower than it has been since Pujols joined the Angels as a free agent. His current 8.2 percent strikeout rate would be his lowest since 2006.

Albert Pujols made history on Tuesday, blasting his 499th and 500th home runs as the Angels defeated the Nationals 7-2.

Pujols took Taylor Jordan deep for No. 499 in the first inning, a three-run blast. Then he became the 26th member of the 500 home run club with a two-run homer to left-center. Pujols, 34, is the third-youngest to join the fraternity. Pujols now leads the league with eight home runs on the season and is carrying a .274/.337/.619 line. Reports of his demise may have been greatly exaggerated.

Albert Pujols continued his march toward the 500 home run club, launching his 497th career long ball in Friday's win over the Tigers in Detroit.

He finished the night 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI. He has looked somewhat like the Pujols of old in April, hitting .279/.347/.574 with five homers and 13 RBI. As long as he can manage to stay healthy, it looks as if he'll be incredibly productive hitting behind Mike Trout in the middle of the Angels lineup.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI in Monday's 3-2 loss to the A's.

Warning: Pujols is officially heating up. He's now hit a homer in four of his last six games. In those contests, he's collected eight RBI and four walks. Oh, and did we mention he's riding a 10-game hitting streak? Only two of those games featured more than one hit, but fantasy owners hardly care when he's drilling the ball like this. Pujols is slashing .259/.322/.556 with four homers and nine RBI.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 2-0 triumph over the Mariners.

With Garrett Richards utterly befuddling the Mariners on the mound, the Halos didn't need any more offense than Pujols' third inning two-run blast off Roenis Elias. After a sluggish start to the season, Pujols has homered in two straight games. Good thing, as Los Angeles needs his bat with Josh Hamilton out of the lineup.

Pujols managed a ninth-inning double to avoid taking the collar, but among his other at-bats were a couple weak groundouts and a popout. The Angels' first baseman is now hitting just .200/.226/.333 for the season and has driven in only one run over the first seven games.
