Prado enjoyed a productive night at the dish going 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the Yankees' win over the White Sox on Friday night.

Martin Prado drove in five runs Saturday as the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies 10-6 in extra innings.

Prado had a massive night, drawing a walk in the first inning, slugging a solo homer in the third inning, smacking an RBI single in the fourth inning, and adding a two-run double in the sixth. He then hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning before Nick Evans slugged a three-run shot. Prado is batting just .280/.325/.383 in 102 total games this season, but he's capable of finishing on a high note.

Martin Prado went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Prado has hits in 11 of 12 July games to raise his line to .275/.321/.370. The run production hasn't followed, unfortunately -- he's scored four runs in July, and Sunday's RBI was just his second this month.

Martin Prado went 2-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 2-1 loss versus the Marlins.

He's now riding a seven-game hitting streak, though this was the first multi-hit varietal of the bunch. Prado is trying to close out the first half strong after struggling through a disappointing season. He's slashing .271/.318/.367 with four homers and 35 RBI.

ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that the Blue Jays have scouted Martin Prado, Aaron Hill and Chase Headley "heavily."

We already knew about Headley, but the Blue Jays being connected to Hill and Prado is new. The Jays would like to add a bat at either third or second base, with the idea that Brett Lawrie would play the other position. Prado (.268/.313/.360), Hill (.248/.285/.368) and Headley (.202/.287/.318) are all having disappointing seasons. Headley will be a free agent after the season, while Prado and Hill are under contract through 2016.

Martin Prado went 3-for-4 and hit his third homer Saturday against the Dodgers.

It's Prado's fourth three-hit game of the month, and he's hitting .358 in June, though that comes with just one walk and four RBI in 53 at-bats. He still figures to get better, but he's been a bust in fantasy leagues to date.

Martin Prado hit a home run in his second straight game Wednesday versus the Padres.

Prado finished 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. His second inning two-run shot off Padres long reliever Donn Roach followed an eight-run opening stanza and gave Arizona a 10-0 lead. Prado went 52 games without a long fly but now has two in the past 48 hours; he's also collected an extra-base hit in four straight. Perhaps he can salvage his fantasy stock for disappointed mixed league owners after all. Prado is now slashing .267/.315/.364 with 24 RBI.

Martin Prado hit a solo home run -- his first round tripper of the year -- in Tuesday's home loss to the Padres.

Prado finished 1-for-4. The veteran third baseman's slugging percentage is down for the third straight year, and his current .348 mark would easily be the worst of his career if it held. In other words, it was good to see him put one in the seats. Prado has been a fantasy dud with a .264 average, zero steals and 21 RBI.

Martin Prado went 1-for-3 with an RBI triple and a run scored in a losing effort against the Mets in the nightcap of Sunday's twinbill.

Prado is off to a slow start at the dish this season, hitting .255/.303/.321 with zero home runs and 19 RBI. While his multi-position eligibility is nice, fantasy owners may have a hard time sticking with him unless he can pick up the production offensively.
