Puig felt tightness in his hamstring while jogging Friday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Puig tried to test the hamstring with some jogging, two weeks after suffering a setback in his first rehab game with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, but the hamstring was still an issue. It's a disconcerting development for Puig's fantasy owners, especially after reports earlier in the day suggested he may not be too far off from a return. Puig remains without any sort of set timetable.

Puig (hamstring) is apparently feeling much better as of Friday and it may not be much longer before he is activated, CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports.

This report is a bit vague, but it certainly qualifies as good news. On May 13 it was said that Puig would need at least a couple weeks before returning, so a return before the end of the month could be possible.

Puig (hamstring) will be out at least another couple weeks, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Manager Don Mattingly didn't offer up much regarding Puig's status Monday, saying only that his MRI revealed a "little bit of a setback." As it turns out, Puig's latest aggravation of the hamstring injury will keep him out for a couple more weeks, perhaps through the rest of May and into June. Puig's setback occurred in his first game back in the outfield with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.

Puig's MRI Monday revealed a "little bit of a setback" in his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to manager Don Mattingly, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports.

We already knew he suffered a setback, but it sounds like the MRI did not reveal anything too ground-breaking. Continue to consider him out indefinitely until we hear something a bit more concrete.

Updating a previous report, Puig (hamstring) has an MRI scheduled for Monday (not Sunday), MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

Puig recently suffered a setback while rehabbing a hamstring injury, and the team will take a closer look to be sure nothing serious occurred. Although manager Don Mattingly originally said the MRI would occur Sunday, Puig's owners will apparently have to wait an extra day for an update on his status.

Puig (hamstring) is scheduled to have an MRI Sunday, the Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett reports.

Manager Don Mattingly said it's not a monumental thing with Puig's injury, it just means he's not ready. It's been an awfully frustrating start to the season for Puig's owners, and we should know more about the severity of his hamstring injury following Sunday's MRI.

Puig left his rehab game Friday with tightness in his hamstring, ThinkBlueLA.com reports.

Puig felt his hamstring tighten up while running to first base after the temperatures dropped Friday night, and he could not make it through his rehab game -- the first in which he played the outfield. Puig will be evaluated again Saturday, but he said through an interpreter that he will take the next two days off, so it does not look like he will be playing for the Dodgers on Monday as hoped.

Puig (hamstring) will likely rejoin the Dodgers on Monday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

Puig will play the outfield in rehab games Friday and Saturday night, with his eyes set on a Monday return to the big-league lineup. There was some thought he might return Sunday, but that's apparently not going to happen.

Puig (hamstring) will play DH Thursday for High-A Rancho Cucamonga and will play the outfield at least once on Friday or Saturday, the Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett reports.

Assuming everything goes well Thursday and Puig is indeed deployed in the outfield this weekend, he would then be knocking on the door of rejoining the Dodgers. In the meantime Andre Ethier will continue to see most of the starts in right field.

Puig (hamstring) will be in the lineup at DH for High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

He will likely be activated when first eligible on May 10, or at least within a few days of that date. Obviously there is no DH for the Dodgers to utilize, so the first real test for Puig could come when he is deployed on defense or when he has to run the bases at full effort.
